The British authorities have pounced on the alleged exploiter behind last week’s $2 million Solana memecoin exploit. Jarett Dunn, a former Pump.fun contractor known online as @STACCoverflow, was arrested early Saturday at a Covent Garden hotel following a 26-hour international manhunt.
A private intelligence firm, hired by a third-party stakeholder, painstakingly traced Dunn’s digital breadcrumbs across social media. After searching London’s streets, local police then focused on the 26-year-old’s residence at the upscale Middle Eight Hotel.
The alleged crypto-outlaw is accused of exploiting admin keys to siphon around $2 million from newly minted meme-coins on Pump.fun last week. The stolen tokens were airdropped at random to Solana users in a baffling money laundering attempt.
However, Dunn was granted bail but still faces criminal charges
